Drinking About My Baby....

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Ah, well, I was Bob last night, so nowt for me but lemonade and sparkling water.

But in all the years I drove up and down to Holland this time of the year, I've never been tested and never got my Bob keyring  (the biggest downside of that being that the Dutch still don't understand putting lights on your motorways is a good thing at night, or at least try to put enough shrubberies/screens/… in between the two directions so I can use the big fcuk of light-all lamps and don't have to point the car in the general direction of what I think is the motor way )

Being brave is coming home at 2am half drunk, smelling of perfume, climbing into bed, slapping the wife on the arse and saying,"right fatty, you're next!!"

left over from my trip to Iceland in 2000. Haven't touched it because it is some of the nastiest stuff ever distilled. The Calvinist in me wouldn't let me throw it out, so I drank it.

Quick tip - if you're going to drink Brennivin, have friends near you who can be relied upon to hold your hair while you hurl or call an ambulance when you succumb to alcohol poisoning.

Being a rufftie-tufftie northern type I did neither, but on Sunday morning my eyeballs were doing a passable impression of red-hot curried marbles, and my tongue felt like it had been used as a doormat for 300,000 unwashed dhobis

I normally prefer my whisky with an "e" in it, but this I could drink all day. :notworthy:
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

After having a few drinkies at lunch and a nice thing called "Delizia al caffé" (which, more or less translated sounds something along the lines of:" Coffee delight"), containing espresso, liquid chocolate, rhum, coffee liquor and liquid cream, I'm having a glass of red wine.
Then, before sleep, I'll "detox" myself with some tea
I'll shove that bat up your a** and turn you into a popsicle
