I have been listening to some of Sisters demos lately, and I noticed that I have never heard some mentioned in myheartland or dominion threads. Does anyone have Nrub (I know, not really a demo, but I have not heard it) or the demos (with different vocalists) of This Corrosion from the Sisterhood sessions?

Nrub or This Corrosion
Hi Petseri and Pikkrong!
I'm downloading Nrub at the moment, so PM me and we'll sort something out. As for This Corrosion - I think that's gonna be harder to find
And thanks for making me Amphetamine Filth!

Oh, and I've got a copy of Nrub on an MP3 disk somewhere. Not very exciting really. These days you could make your own version in a couple of seconds with the right software.
As for the This Corrosion demos, good luck.

As for This Corrosion with James Ray on vocals, Robin has it, but won't copy it for anyone
and my mate, possibly, if he could ever find the tape again
btw - was re-reading one of the heartland magazines the other day. It stated that alan vega did some this corrosion demo stuff too. anyone know anything about this

Any ideas as to what I should upload next? A cover version maybe?

How about "Nine While Nine" live - I think it was Newcastle Tiffanys in late 84 - only time played live I think.
OR
"Emma" from the Speed Kings gig in Dublin 1990?

Paint it Black - the Vega connection would go as follows - Vega appeared on Gift, and This Corrosion was also originally demoed at the time of the Gift sessions - which is why there is a version with James Ray singing. This, of course, is why This Corrosion in thematic terms is out of place on Floodland - it's a spillover rant of bile and forgiveness about the 1985 breakup. I don't know if Von held it over because it was unfinished, or because he realised it would make a stonking first single for the next album. Either way, it's pretty likely that Vega was involved in this original (1986) version too.
