There's an area with a small radius were at 30 degrees east a very good record shop, slightly north west (think street slightness) but a brisk walk a very good all sorts shop looking for outfits and things and then still staying from our central point of said area slightly north east a tatoo / piercing shop (very good one, I know)
So who's coming with me to hit which direction first. We'll be with our heads in a puff of smoke but with walking boots on.
And mobile phones fully charged and with credit a big advantage!

NO! He seriously meant RECORD SHOPS...they are hard to find in the Dam but they are gem stones!
The coffee shops, yeah lots of those, we drink coffee there and have a smoke.
We'll do both shops & MOST probably many more, knowing this lot!

In the words of the Quiffmeister on page one...
Interesting.
Back from Majorca 2 weeks before but it sounds pretty unmissable.

I like the way this is shaping up Less 'unmissable', more 'fckng lethal' by the look of things.
Hom, you've spawned a monster Sir. I salute you.
BTW, depending on how many of us are heading over, I know a nice quiet little budget hotel with big dorm rooms, www.torenzicht.com/hotels.htm slap bang in the centre of town, and right next to a curious alleyway featuring curious folk who would give you slightly more than you bargained for. Allegedly. No thrills whatsoever, but spot on, and the bar is marvellous too, even when you need Zeno to get into it.

It is indeed shaping up nicely...and the hotel Torenzicht looks fine.Planet Dave wrote:I like the way this is shaping up Less 'unmissable', more 'fckng lethal' by the look of things.

Sounding good, or depart friday morn come back sunday aft / eve, just to be awkward Spose it depends on flight and hotel availability, no mad rush just yet but the flights should be peanuts if we book now-ish. Robin Hood has been the cheapest last coupla times i've been over, but whatever wherever whenever...DerekR wrote:Do we need a roll call?
I'm a definite, as long as it's the weekend of the 3rd.
So, Saturday morning departure, Monday morning return? How does that sound to you lot?
If we're gonna book the torenzicht, we'll need at least 5 staying the weekend in order to get put in the dorm room, preferably a couple more. Given the 'meat' (shouldnt that be 'air biscuit') of the 'lads thread' I'd suggest any couples going would wanna stay elsewhere. not to mention that all other rooms have a shared loo in the corridor.

I definitely can't do the Friday, too many peeps off work that week already and I'm already covering someone else on Friday morning. Friday evening flight is a possibility but if not I dont mind arriving Saturday morning and staying Sunday night on my own somewhere else if you all decide to do the Fri-Sun thingPlanet Dave wrote:Sounding good, or depart friday morn come back sunday aft / eve, just to be awkward
