Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. I can't stand Het Gathering, personally... bland bland bland, the bland that so called "gothic" so called "metal" can go... they had a couple of good tracks on "Nightime Birds" but lost it after that IMHO.

I saw them a few years ago and they were fantastic, Anneke was note perfect :notworthy:. I agree they are now fairly boring, however. "Leaves" and "Strange Machines" are my particular favourites, Mandylion being the only album I've only ever given much time to.
