Leonard Cohen back on the road!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Another one to add to the list. :D

Not a particularly huge fan, but I like enough of his stuff, and it would be a shame not to go. (Plus it's a few days before me burfday.)
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

The grounds IMMA ( Irish meseum of modern art) should make a great location for the concert .Weather permmiting it sounds like the makings of fine summer evenings entertainment.
On the down side the tickets will probably cost you an arm and a leg though   Arse!!concert tickets in Ireland are always so f**king ridiculously expensive

So true, but for Laughing Len it's a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Thank you :) - been lurking a bit. But prices like those make one shout out loud involuntarily. I think the promoters must expect that he only has wealthy fans? Then again, they don't call Ireland the Rip-Off Republic for nothing!

Apparently the Leonard Cohen gig isn't part of the Cactus Festival, but is in that place the night before the festival starts. Tickets are on sale now via www.sherpa.be and are 46Euro + 4euro for reservational bollocks. That's 50 euro for the legend... hmmm, it ain't cheap, but still way better than the 115Euro you folks from the islands have to cough up.
If you wanna go, it's probably better to buy yer tickets asap :innocent:

Bought my ticket for the Edinburgh Castle gig yesterday.
£54 with booking fee but when will I ever get the chance again?
Hopefully I won't discover his voice is knackered and he's decided to play metal versions of his greatest hits!

I'm very tempted. Anyone else going to see him in Edinburgh, Amsterdam or Manchester?
