Another one to add to the list.
Not a particularly huge fan, but I like enough of his stuff, and it would be a shame not to go. (Plus it's a few days before me burfday.)

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

The grounds IMMA ( Irish meseum of modern art) should make a great location for the concert .Weather permmiting it sounds like the makings of fine summer evenings entertainment.mh wrote:Another one to add to the list.

Pourquoi pas Any clue what I'd pay for a Cactus?
So true, but for Laughing Len it's a once in a lifetime opportunity.Spigel wrote:concert tickets in Ireland are always so f**king ridiculously expensive

Don't know really, but I believe their prices usually circle around 30/35 euro per day...Obviousman wrote:Pourquoi pas Any clue what I'd pay for a Cactus?

Thank you - been lurking a bit. But prices like those make one shout out loud involuntarily. I think the promoters must expect that he only has wealthy fans? Then again, they don't call Ireland the Rip-Off Republic for nothing! And hello and welcome!

Apparently the Leonard Cohen gig isn't part of the Cactus Festival, but is in that place the night before the festival starts. Tickets are on sale now via www.sherpa.be and are 46Euro + 4euro for reservational bollocks. That's 50 euro for the legend... hmmm, it ain't cheap, but still way better than the 115Euro you folks from the islands have to cough up.Izzy HaveMercy wrote:Cactus!

Me too
Bought my ticket for the Edinburgh Castle gig yesterday.
£54 with booking fee but when will I ever get the chance again?
Hopefully I won't discover his voice is knackered and he's decided to play metal versions of his greatest hits!

I'm very tempted. Anyone else going to see him in Edinburgh, Amsterdam or Manchester?Erudite wrote:Bought my ticket for the Edinburgh Castle gig yesterday.
