The HL movie....

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Well your ideas about filming everything when us users get together and the YOUTUBING it or sending it to the editor to check and the producer then collecting all of the bits and putting it together.

Those ideas you had with you and Andie (not Burn anymore) in October should be okay...small but okay...I think the event of this years HL meet would be a definate one as will the A'dam meet up in Aug. this year that's a sticky at the moment....throw in ideas folks of the threads you would like to film and the past threads we'll just relive them...should be fun!

What do you all think? Until that rich guy lurking steps in and offers loads of money to make it all offical... :P 8)

I recommend we do the trailer first - ask all interested parties to record a minute clip of 'em doing what typifies them most. Like, for example, drinking. Then some bright spark with a bit of editing skill - Fiend, or maybe Blast? - knits 'em together with a pumping sountrack, narration, etc. etc.

You mean loads of one minute clips of us all staring into a computer screen, typing posts on HL while drinking/eating/smoking/whatever? :innocent:  ;D
I don't necessarily agree with everything I think.

Well I don't know about you but I would seriously like to be a fly in both rooms just to see HL from their eyes!

Both parties would drink red wine or beer but the one party only drinks on the odd occasion and feels happy for it...the other drinks way too much but it's cool cause we have drunk many a bottle around a table and no-one got under the table, for you dirty mind thinker's!

I also know the soundtrack that the one party will be listening to of course as our music tastes do coincide with each other!

They both love eating and I'm sure with cheese and Molly's shortbread we would have a field day filming... ;D 8) :innocent:

I just remembered I can't actually participate in this, as I do not own a videocamera or webcam. I also don't know anyone who does either.

this is the quote I laughed most in about 10 months or so?
But I cant be arsed to quote Reverend Smiscandlon correctly:

"Well Heartland is an anagram of T' Anal Herd..."

If I'm in the movie and if Scarlett Johansson turns down to play me and I have to play me myself... well, then I like to summon Ania, Johnny M and Francis * for performing The Tilburg- Thread : "A Foursome in Flanders". A joyful and mildly erotic screwball-comedy of shakespearean format.

*If I remember correctly, there was a guy with smelly socks too, called shadow something as an extra.
Put their heads on f*cking pikes in front of the venue for all I care.
