Wet Laptop

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

It should be open to allow as much of airflow as possible.

What's that then?

Clingfilm in sé is a good idea, but I think it breathes through most of the gaps, so not sure whether it'd be a good idea to close it off. Mind you, now I know I should've invested in the rubber mats that are on sale to cover the keyboard :(

Went to the MacStore earlier, they said don't switch it on, bring it here and we'll fix it.

For about €1400 :urff: I'd rather get me a new one for that kind of money! :( Will be trying to open the keyboard (which can be done) later today, not sure how long I'll leave it to rest. 24h or 48h, hmmm...

I've seen you bumping glasses more than once, I even began to think it was 'your thang'...

But, enough of my pesky remarks, I do hope the damage ain't too big!

Hoping too, I'll be reporting tomorrow afternoon - if I can bring myself to push the button that is :urff:

But aye, it was bound to happen, wasn't it...

Think I will! To scared to try now.

Tried they keys earlier and other than the spacebar and the left arrow none really seamed to really feel sticky. My battery's still working too (you can get the status by pushing a button on its back, so didn't try through putting it into the puter) so I hope those two things are a positive sign!

They don't usually get too sticky until it's warmed up a bit.

Hope they don't get any more sticky, especially the spacebar is a right pain! But works mighty fine otherwise :D
