Lucretia cover by Warrel Dane (Nevermore)

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Could have at least kept the proper bass riff. :(

I like Nevermore; they're one of the few metal bands I still listen to. But their cover versions are pretty heinous, and this isn't an exception. Were it not for the lyrics, I wouldn't even have recognized it.

So it sounds just so-so and you turn up the volume to make it better? Hmmm... So sticking your head in a concrete mixer is a musical orgasm for you I bet.

Youth of today etc...

You should never go out on Black Lake when the moon be full. Why? Because there's somethin' out there... somethin' evil... somethin' that goes by the name of Old Greg...

I like it.

The singer actually can sing - which makes a change from the usual metal and goff marble-garglers who do silly sisters covers.

This one is a cut above though.
