Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I was at Liverpool Uni very late 80s / early 90s and I loved the Planet, even if it did have the most horrible toilets imaginable and you didn't dare risk sitting on the ultra-sticky floor for fear of sections of your clothing remaining there after you got up :lol:

Great memories of the place. Have kept my Planet X membership badge all these years! Saw Alien Sex Fiend there, which was just brilliantly mental - even the power cutting out in the middle didn't dampen proceedings. On the flipside, I remember too much power when Babes in Toyland played there, the drummer getting a potentially very nasty electric shock from her microphone... It wasn't what you'd call "swish" - and all the better for it! Just fun, friendly and unpretentious ...

Wish I could be in Liverpool for this reunion do. Hope anyone who's going has a great time.

Coming over all nostalgic for a wonderful period of my life. Do excuse me ... :cry:
