Heartland meet up - Manchester - October 2008

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Me? Sorry I always get confused a bit now as there is someone with a username "Libby"!

If you meant me, I shall book time off when I see more definate yesses from people! Didn't get to speak to everyone enough (especially Claire) at the Violets gig due to having 15,000 cousins there who I hadn't seen for a very long time, though there will be no distractions this time!
Awwww, bless you and yes I did mean you!

Though the other lovely Libs would also be a great addition to the festivities :D

Newsflash:

Special guest DJ for October (the Saturday) will be Mat - the bassist for the March Violets at last December's Homecoming gig :von:

Still looking at options for the Friday & Sunday nights. Its unlikely to be anything I've actually organised, but I aim to find somewhere that might be cool to go for a drink & a chat, at least 8)

If I've managed to stop smoking by then, I might join you. Standing outside in October's not my idea of fun. Even if it means I get to see you fine people again.
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

It's looking like I'm gonna be in Egypt for this one, so I figure I'll just have to make the Amsterdam meet up then!

Now then, the journey is almost sorted, (£2 return on the megabus, thank you very much!)

That Ibis hotel does look nice but price wise is a little steep, are there any others close to the venue at a more student friendly rate?

... unless everyone's going to be at that one ;)

Scratch that, my trip's gone back about 2 weeks, so I will be there! :D

Gonna miss the proposed meet-up with EB though ( :( ), but as I do believe he's going up Mount Sinai...
