Original Simple Minds back togevva

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Exciting news as I love their early 80's work, just hope they still got the juice - and Jim Kerr gets back to writing obscure lyrics again.

They're also touring in October and performing all of New Gold Dream. But I'm confused about whether it's the original line up or the new one.

If I told you I was listening to them right now, would you believe me?

question is, is it the 'original' original line-up or the one that first went global?

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

That sums them up nicely. And it's the original line up complete with Brian McGee on the skins. He's guested with Derek Forbes and Mick Macneil in their band FourGoodMen. Will find out if it's them touring though.

I'm a practicing Catholic (practice makes pefect) and I'd be most interested on a pilgrimage to that convent. Please enlighten me. ;D :D
