***Media Alert - The New Mersey Sound***

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

The New Mersey Sound

Harking back to 1977 Liverpool where the basement club Eric's provided the venue for an explosion of music. Not since the Beatles has the city known such intense musical activity.
Featuring Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Teardrop Explodes, Pete Burns, Electrafixion, KLF, Big In Japan, Wah!, Echo And The Bunnymen, Holly Johnson and The Lightning Seeds. Contains some strong language. [S]

I have it on tape from ages ago, it really is worth watching Wylie's a laugh.

@ Zohnny Foreign: I don't the the 'Back count as part of that Liverpool scene, I allas thought they were more London centred anyway?

I really need to get TV other than the terrestrial channels.

Yes you can all point and laugh. ;D
