The Greeks should be ashamed of themselves. They are still the European champions....Almiche V wrote:Thank God the Swedes scored, because the Greeks were terrible and their attitude stank (a couple of nasty kicks aswell).
Have got high hopes for Czech vs Portugal tomorrow.
This was anti soccer! They didn't have any intentions to play the game at all. Glad the "Sweeds" won the game.

Couldn't agree more. The sooner they're out the better.Ozpat wrote:The Greeks should be ashamed of themselves. They are still the European champions....Almiche V wrote:Thank God the Swedes scored, because the Greeks were terrible and their attitude stank (a couple of nasty kicks aswell).

Yesterday was worse IMO.Bartek wrote:i thought that how they (Greeks) played 4 years ago was anti-soccer.
Four years ago they won. At least sometimes they tried back then. Playing like this won't result in wins.
Proof = yesterday.

Good game. Czechs played much better than last week.
Were close to a draw rather than 1-3.
Portugal is still one of the favorites.
They will meet Croatia or Poland in the quarter finals.
Different level than the other side of the draws.

Yeh, the Czechs played alot better than their first game and 1-3 doesn't do their performance justice. Baros played well but needed more support to give him chances. Shouldn't be a problem against the Turks though.
And I keep my $100, bad luck Bartek

@Almiche V :i believed that Czech's gonna win, but i know that not good in believing in anything.
@ Ozpat : don't forget that Poland weren't loose a match with Portugal in qualification ( 2:1 and 2:2) . In the other hand Polish team is quite erratic, they could won with Portugal and loose a point or at least fight tough for one goal with a team like Monte Negro .

Switzerland v Turkey appears to be turning into a swamp footy match.
I saw Basel win the Swiss championship there earlier this year. Nice stadium, but looking a little wet at the mo.
See the ball almost stop on the penalty spot before the first goal?

Looks like the Swiss have run out of steam.
Must have been a dodgy fondue at half time.

The turks have been running wild since the end of the game. Until an accident happened-two blocks from here, just outside a friends window. Good luck to the victims for a quick recovery.
