EURO 2008

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Sweden and Italy always play like that. Holland had a day off at the beach so it seemed.

Spain - Russia should be fun. :D :notworthy:
Germany - Turks won't be as the Turks miss NINE players and are intending to let their third goalie play as a forward.

Most quarter finals are cagey, fortunately the best teams have won through in most games.

Come on Turkey - massive upset please

I watched the Spain/ Italy penalties in a bar in JFK airport.
It was getting quite tense & I looked around at one point & just about half the airport was stood there watching.
;D
Cheers.

I think Croatia would have had a better chance. They did not really deserve to lose against Turkey IMO.

That's for sure. The tennis has started here - zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

If we'd ended up with a Germany v Italy final then I wouldn't have watched it. Will defo watch the final now though, should be good whoever plays.

Nooooooooooooooo. Turkey didn't deserve that! They were immense!

Not a night for goalies though.

I was surprised by the Turks who missed lots and lots of players. :notworthy:

The Germans could not impress me at all. Actually they only did against Portugal. :|
But yeah, they are in the finals. I guess that's the thing that counts....

And when all that championsh*te is over blow up the f*cking football stadiums and charge death penalty on soccer-related use of car horns and nocturnal shouting in the street. Or at least legalize postnatal abortion of those bloody f*ck-went-wrongs. I hardly slept last week.

After they scored it opened up thank God, it was very cagey and uninspiring until then. Hope they beat the Germans. Actually, I hope they mash and thrassacre them.
