I initially read Jimmy Saville there!!! It might take some days to shake that image from my mindHom_Corleone wrote:Me, Van Morrison, in a gay bar? What would they say? .....Harvey Winston wrote:my money's on Van Morrison.Andy Christ 666 wrote: Is anyone else thinking Prince?

No, it wasn't wee Jimmy Somerville. In fact, in vocal terms you're at completely the wrong end of the register.

Been working for music festivals for 15 years so met a lot of people (never VON ), well there are some of the most outstanding and less pathetic stories (at least those I sort of remember)
Drove around town with a hijacked Garbage van with members from Daisy Chainsaw.
Wrapped one member of Ego Express in tape (while naked).
Fell asleep in the Blue Aeroplanes tourbus, when I woke up I was in Paris.
Got lost for hours in a field with 3 members form Kool and the Gang at 3 am.
Danced for 2 hours onstage while Laurent Garnier was djing before I realized where I was, then continued.
But I really most fondly remember a nice chat and few drinks with Ray Cokes.

Lemmy, Dylan, Prince .... After all these guesses, if I do tell now it can only be an anti-climax. As it were.

...got an unexpected "new member" mention in the recent CT/western MA Mensa chapter's newsletter. Unless "Praveen" is a girl's name, I'm the only female in the new member bunch.
Hmmmmmmm. With a ratio like that, perhaps I should start attending meetings!

Everyone on here knows mine!
Though I did get chatted up by Danny from the Wildhearts once, and went to Hecate Enthroned's party in their hotel room at the Inferno festival - oh and I'm fairly sure that I made the guitarist from Wolfsbane a sandwich when I worked in a sandwich shop when I was about 14. Ermmmmm and I know two people who are in a band with Andreas from 1349 \m/
