Fae The m*****n

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

My favourite is "I spray your love", seen on several lyric sites. Considering some of Wayne's more, ahem, intimate lyrics, that one could almost be genuine.

Mark Gemini Thwaite is also the guitarist for Peter Murphy on his latest tour. Great show they did here in NYC, Murph said at the 2nd encore, "Peter Hook's in the audience tonight, and we're going to do Transmission," after which they launched into a truly great version of that song, complete with Murph doing the epilepsy-dance. Met MGT after for a bit, nice guy.

If you want to hear some really bad lyrics of his, google lyrics to Slave to Lust from Aura (hmm, sounds like oral?)

Oh grow up.... this site is full of one-eyed evangelists as far as The Mish are concerned.

They are a fecking good live band, you should have seen them.

Easy to criticise from afar kids, go figure sad acts!

If you were referring to my post, I never said I didn't like them. I merely pointed out lyrics that I think are bad. I have all their CD's, have seen every show they've done in California since 1986, and flew to London to see their final 4 shows. Hardly a one-eyed evangelist as I see it.
