"I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill, and think things over."
Serious answer: it would be nice if it was up to us, but it ain't, it's entirely in the hands of and the members concerned. And anyway, some of us think Hussmonster was bad for the band, some of us think Pearson was bad for the band, some of us dislike everything post-88 (or -85, or even -83). End result is nothing is gonna please everybody. Go figure, indeed.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

i have to say that live the two current incumbents are excellent. and both are thoroughly sound blokes.
beyond that, until there is another aspect of their membershp to assess -ie songwriting credits on the never gonna surface new album- i don't see what the problem is. what's done is done and i doubt any of the past guitarists would be able to persuade von into a recording studio(mr. marx, bless him, tried to no avail.)

And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Well personally I love every single one of the past members for being involved in some way or another in giving to us what we love to this very day.
Aside from that, Mr POST poster, U might as well calm it coz neither you, nor I, nor the other fine peeps on here can do a damn thing about it.

There has never been a weak Sisters line-up IMHO and all of the various incarnations have contributed something to the heritage.
I would've loved to have seen the Marx/Hussey/Adams line-up, but I was too young...
