Heckler Response

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I appreciate it is not a response to a heckler (and so probably should be cast out into the darkness where there is a great wailing and gnashing of teeth for posting off topic) but listing to the "Bei Mir.." boot reminded me of a nice line on stage:

[top nite out/snub nose ends]
"Ladies and gentleman, Mr Chris Starling and the legendary Doctor Whammy..."

[this corrosion kicks in]
"... and on the tombola, Nurse!"

"Are you insane????"

and, later...

"What can you do?"

Also, a comment not a response to the corset crowd:

"This song is for Officer Mike."

Side Note:

At the end of "Something Fast", he stopped singing and growled "Yeah, that's not going to happen." rather than singing "Give me Something Fast" at the very end.

not a heckler response but makes me laugh:

"....or the f-117 -not so stealthy when it's parked on your lawn."
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

I once owned a boot where he said (translating from German, maybe?): "I think they're calling you a poof, Wayne."
