Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

The upcoming meets/events are the Alternative Bring N Buy this Sunday (that's more an event than a meet) and a Goth Walk (about Steampunk) next Wednesday

you couldn't write this stuff
something's going bonkers with my posts tonight
"And when you start to think about death, you start to think about what's after it. And then you start hoping there is a God. For me, it's a frightening thought to go nowhere".

taliabee wrote:hope this isnt considered too rogue- obviously sisters is why we're here but, is anyone into cardiacs?!
Although it says Sisters on the front page, we're all actually into lot's of other music, whether it be very new and/or "covered in cobweb's"
I'm sure somebody mentioned The Cardiacs not too long ago too!
If you need help with adding an avatar (that's the picture you see to the left of my post) to your profile or you want to add pics, emoticon's or weblinks to your posts then Scotty's the man to ask

Oh, and you'll find Sisters are more like something that gets in the way of the forum every now and then rather than being the reason why we're here

blimey, this day is ending differently to how it started!
cheers

following it, just!
when i say hiphop, i mean things like lupe fiasco and bep and chamillionaire and that- rogue but it's different to me! (after nearly 30 years of goth, punk, alt etc, there's not a lot 'new' in that field!) and, tbh, "it it's got a good beat" - lol!
listening to radio show at the mo - the cult song (sorry, i do like them but i could never tell one song of theirs from another!)
let's hope no-one sneezes!
thanks all, you've improved my evening no end!

wow, that radio show was brilliant. the most music i've listened to in weeks - and only got unnecessary right at the end with tower of strength! that's a step in the right direction - will have to renew my acquaintance with the several hundred cds i've got stuck in load of boxes.
i've had a great night - and it's been such a surprise - thanks all
...exploring fascinating avenues of improper behaviour...

really glad i found this place - what a fluke!
cheers again
btw still got the mother of all storms going outside, and the best internet connection i've ever had here- must be all the extra electricity around - lol!
