Calling Techies and peeps who can get "Stuff"

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Im after a working copy of VMWare ( Op Sys Emulator) for my lappy.

Ive got a copy of vers 2, but the bastard wont work. From the error looks like it doesnt like the instruction set from the celeron chip.... sooo

Anyone either :
a) got a patch for vers 2 for Celeron compatability or

b) got a copy of vers 3 or 4....

would be much appreciated !

for the record, my version is "vmware 3.1.1" - i'll bring it on a cd tomorrow - but if hal has a more recent version or whatever then might want his... :? :)

nah, you better take it for him. I remember were I got mine from :wink:

It works on a 2 gig Celeron running XP...
