I'm looking for some decent, but at the same time easy to use, video editing software.
Windows Movie Maker is good for small jobs but this is a slightly larger project so I need a more powerful program that won't crash if you're working with more than 5 minutes of video!
So, which would you lot recommend?

If you fancy partitioning your HDD to install Linux, or better still doing the same on a separate one to Dual-Boot, try this:~

Linux is much more stable than M$ Windoze - No BSOD to contend with ...
p.s. 'Capture' comes as standard with Totem Movie Player which is pre-installed with Mint Elyssa, but I expect you fancy something more ambitious, eh?! - This will involve some searching and then an app. install via Synaptic or Software Portal ... "Easy to use" is a stretchy phrase. Every program claims a period of vocational adjustment. I do my video stuff with sony vegas - you can take a look insight the workflow if you visit this youtube channel and watch some tutorials.
