Sisters Official Site "Down"?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Good Evening All :-)

I have tried to access the Sisters Official Site (http://www.sistersofmercy.com and http://www.thesistersofmercy.com), using IE and Opera - and I get nothing on IE and "cant connect to remote server" on Opera

Perhaps "WE" are due an update or the inevitable has happened!

No. It's back up. Last "update" dates from December 2001 - other news.

Well, yes, that would be an example of an interesting, stimulating topic of conversation.

I notcied that too, not that I really expected anything new there when I went. I wanted to check the name of the person who got a private gig in her living room.

@ AndyTheGoth: What do you thiink of Opera? I am requesting it at work now that the bozos have made Explorer the default browser there. Netscape is still an option, but I want to try out Opera a s well.

@ Martin :-)

I decided to try Opera when IE (5/5.5/6) kept crashing when 3 or more windows were open. I tried "Smart Explorer" on a 30 day trail - it was very good but I wont pay $19.95 just for a browser!

I find Opera is fine - it does have some ads but they are small and unobtrusive. The great thing about Opera is when its crashes it allows you to carry on where you left off - great if your in Heartland on different threads ;-)

Sorry, I think this little matter was my fault....

Had him pinned between me and that cup of coffee we were enjoying.

He'd never let his site go down willingly...he's far too egotistical!
