SISTERS for the USA Fall 08

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Richmond's about a 2hr drive, Philly I'll overnight it somewhere.

Mr. Catalyst is driving the van or what?
According to Methedrome, Mr. Catalyst is driving a happy f**cking camper - perhaps this is what they're refering to when they talk about...

That's gonna be a pretty big tour

Afterwards we probably get hit again, like in 2006, by temporary posters talking about playback and tapes. Same as it ever was.

Happy for the true fans who don't get that many oportunities! :notworthy:

I'd prefer if he let our dear Americans pick their own leaders (because I assume his help isn't helpful), but now I see there's a slightly worrying space around Washington DC november 4. :innocent:

There's also space for Montreal in the beginning of the tour and for SF after Vancouver...and I don't think the tour will end in Hollywood - at least Mexico and Texas are still waiting.

Leeds Academy is opening soon - probably a better size than the University given the diminishing crowds? :?

Nice! A new tour... and a pretty big one too for their standards.

Big question is: are ye good folk of the americas ready for the good things?!

I'll be waiting for another Paris date to pop up though

That would be a resounding Fcuking Aye We're Ready!

Bring it on, you gravelly-voiced, short-arsed Gnome of Darkness for we, your Children of the Night, your Dodgy Darklings, your Shoe-Gazing Arm-Waving Moon-Down-Drawing minions stand ready to do your bidding. We await your command to Sing This Corrossion and give you Something Fast is such be your desire.

Did I get into gig-mode too soon? :innocent:

You're asking for trouble. Too much of this and he'll cancel the tour for fear of being called a goffic.

Yeah, for Print@Home to boot - if I'd known that I'd have had them delivered by post and got a genuine ticket!
