Mumbles Rock Rickmansworth!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

On September 13th, The Mumbles made their official live debut at The White Bear pub in Rickmansworth when they headlined the monthly Musical Circus.
The band got a great reception and managed to shift a few of the promo CDs they had lying around!

The gig was filmed and can be watched in it's entirety on Youtube.

ENJOY!

Not bad at all. Your frontman needs to move around a bit more, though. Learn from the master, starting at 1:29: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xa1eCJwj ... re=related

On second thought, don't.

Fcuk me Rob (not in a literal sense ;))! You guys replicate the sound live stupidly well! I really wish I'd been able to make it. I certainly won't be missing another one.

Excellent. It must be nerve wrecking performing in a pub with no lights or smoke to hide behind. :notworthy:

That boy's got a voice indeed! :notworthy:
Try to give the instrumental side of The Mumbles a bit more Oomph! of some kind. The playing sounds pretty fine, but the sounds somehow don't. You two surely are on a good way!

Bah, I liked them better before they were famous.

Seriously, :notworthy: to Rob and James, looks and sounds like a cracking show, even that decidedly suspect last verse in Crash and Burn!
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
