And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. Hi everybody!
I just joined the forum... at last!! Could somebody please help me with this... Last year I wrote to the Reptile House Headquarters asking for information, catalogues or something and I'm still waiting for something to fall from the sky. Does anyone how many IRQs do I have to enclose so somebody can send me some info?

Yes indeed, the Reptile House is notoriously inactive. Just like the official website is notoriously bereft of updates. Official communication from Merciful Release is as rare as hens' teeth. Nevertheless, we are happy-go-lucky folk, and if we have no new information to hand, we make the most of the situation and start our own rumours. This usually keeps us occupied until said rumours eventually come to nothing. Someone then starts a new one, and the innocent children set about playing happily again.

So no, it is not unusual that you didn't hear back.

a few HL members have tried to contact the reptile house in the last couple of years... i dont think any of them have got a reply :(

maybe von just forgets to check his post office box whenever he pops over to leeds? ;)

Just enclose a 6 million dollar record contract with guaranteed distribution and support and no strings attached, come to think of it no actual obligation to release anything either, and you might get a feigned attempt at noticing you. Otherwise the only way to get a peep out of Von is to form a band called The Sisterhood - hey! It worked last time!!!

I wrote to the Reptile House enclosing an Stamped Addressed Envelope about 3 weeks ago - from the address on the Merciful Release website - I was kind of hoping for a reply of sorts, but after reading the experiences of other "Heartlanders" :notworthy: I wont hold my breath ;-)
