There was originally a thread posted relating to Gary Marx elsewhere but just thought I would point out that I sent off for the free CD single from "www.garymarx.com".
I noticed the post was back in June so I didn't expect a reply. Imagine my suprise this morning when I received the single and, AND his signature on the CD and the covering letter. I find it quite worrying being 33 and still being excited by getting Gary Marx' autograph (twice though).
(The second track on the CD isn't at all bad either - if a little short). Anybody heard the album?

It takes 4-5 days for a cheque to clear, I don't think he's that trusting, especially if he's seen my picture! I'm expecting a copy next week or after.Steve303 wrote:Have you got the album yet Si?

It's turned up today, listening to it now.

Aye "brand new"! The word Acoustic comes to mind when describing the music. It kinda reminds me of Donovan.Steve303 wrote:Sorry mate.Big Si wrote:It's turned up today, listening to it now.

I got that impression from the 2 songs on the free CD. I do particularly like the second song.

But at 33mins it's a wee bit short!
Maybe I have to wait patiently - I sent the e-mail on 9th of October. Or maybe I did it too late?Quiff Boy wrote:i've got his single but have never gotten around to getting the album i really should.pikkrong wrote:hey, men, what did you do to get his single? i sent an e-mail and asked is it still available. got no response

what a nice manThanks for the continued support from individuals and other sites, especially myheartland.co.uk who have given shelter to another '1995' track for us through the bleak midwinter. Hopefully the problems we've had are settling down now. This should mean more old and new material becoming available to preview and purchase in the near future.
