I'm here!
Nicely set up in my student digs in Bodington Hall, north of Headingly.
For those who live in these climes I hope to see you all soon

Boddington, eh? Within spitting distance of Hunter Towers. Weebles is correct - after a decent chinwag this afternoon we can confirm we're thinking about the EM gig. Don't rush us old 'uns into snap decisions

in the biblical sense?

Bod?
I can't make it to the Eureka Machines -- prior booking -- but I'm sure we'll manage some sort of Leeds hook-up sooner or later.

Bet it doesn't cost 37p to get downtown on the Yorkshire Rider like it did back in my day

Did some Wendyhousing, which was great fun, but this here Black Sheep on a Sunday night seems to be a great venue for some sort of meet up.
Great tunes combined with a lively but not overbearing atmosphere (they played Susanne!) seems to be the right sort of spot.
A big thanks to Timsinister and Syberberg for an excellent weekend

Hi Guys & Ghouls,
We have a new at the Subculture next Sunday @ the Black Sheep Goth/Alternative night.
Free entry!
Doors open at 7.00 pm & bands kick off about 8.00pm, and we may be on first, so get there early. Cybercide & possibly one other band (tbc) will also be playing. There will be a club night immediately afterwards until 11.30pm.
So get your Goth gear on & party like it's 1666!

I haven't (yet) met you Mr. Syberberg, but I know Tim and Maisey are a fatal combination, and I have grevious doubts about you keeping them on the straight and narrowSyberberg wrote:The first of many, I'm sure.Maisey wrote: A big thanks to Timsinister and Syberberg for an excellent weekend
Lock up your daughters, Leeds! And your liquor!

Cybercide are dead good. They're certainly EBM, but its got way more of a...clunky... feel to it then regular EBM - more retro drum sounds, a definate gothic vocal style ranging from Marc Almond-esqe at times to a more Porl Kingy deep wail.
If you any of you guys can make the free gig, I'll be there
I'm sure I couldn't comment on the safety of the daughters of Leeds around the might Sinister and myself
Alice! why not give it away, just a little

I'd go along with that, they're certainly trying to do something slightly different than the usual Trance-For-The-Alternatively-Minded.
And me.If you any of you guys can make the free gig, I'll be there
There are many things I could say, but we're a long way from the point where I'd be offered enough drugs.I'm sure I couldn't comment on the safety of the daughters of Leeds around the might Sinister and myself

Don't know why I've only just read this thread...
I actually live closer to Bod Hall than Leeds itself so you can count me in for any help/owt you might need Maisey!
Bit s**t for pubs there though.

Ahhh my first foray into the land of cardiovascular organs and the first recognisable post I come across is none other than Master Robert Maisey making me feel somewhat ill with his use of Zs instead of Ss, it's sacreligiouz. Feel the waves of my virtual wrath! I have proceeded with the Rozz portrait by the way It is a good excuse to stare at a photo of him for a few hours anyway *girly sigh* Many thanks for your hospitality. I wish you well among the rocks...beware the sirens.
