Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.
Well, my fantasy Sisters line up is more of a fantasy sound. I’d love another complete reinvention, a new sound. My fantasy new era Sisters would sound like a cross between Floorshow and Rekkit by Death in Vegas. The closest anyone has come to making a record that sounds like that is, rather unsurprisingly, Death in Vegas when they got Iggy Pop to do the vocals for Aisha.
So, I guess my line-up would be something like this.
Vocals: Eldritch
Drums: Dok
Music & Production: Death in Vegas
Having said all that, my dream Sisters line-up would really be: Eldritch and any collection of people who release an album!
Yeah, I've been thinking about Blixa Bargeld for a while, not sure who else though; I'm not interested in these fast technical metal guitarists. Daniel Ash maybe?
As for bass, I'll add my vote to the Lemmy supporters. If nothing else, you just can't beat that moustache.
I think the problem with Daniel Ash is that while he is one of my favourite guitarists and his playing style was perfect for Bauhaus, whether he would work as a Sisters guitarist is another matter entirely.
But since this is fantasy I'll give him a try and if it doesn't work out, I can bring in someone else.

Absolutely
I just realized that my ideal fantasy line up is a very ill-conceived one!
(and Daniel is one of my fav guitarist as well )
I'll shove that bat up your a** and turn you into a popsicle
I think it definitely has some arguments in its favour.
Intriguing it sure is, but I don't see them working together, those lazy gits
The idea of Tom Jenkinson/Squarepusher playing the bass on the other hand could be a match made in heaven!

Adrenachrome/Afterhours touched by the hand of Richard D James.

Sounds blissfully mind-blowing!

I was listening to Adrenochrome last night and R.D.J. really should have his way with it... that bouncy beat just asks for it
I'd also love to see the Venetian Snares dude making some dubstep remixes with Sisters samples like he did with Black Sabbath a while ago
Vocals: Andrew, natch
Drums + Synths: The Doctor
Bass: David J Haskins (Bauhaus)
Lead Guitar: Si McCabe (formerly Black Wire)
Rhythm Guitar: Justin Warfield (She Wants Revenge)
And to finish...
Nurse: Mr James G. Thirwell (Foetus) [But if he commits any further atrocities in the style of "First And Last And Always (Allegedly a Sisters cover)", he walks ]
Which I like to think would come out as "The Reptile House goes f'kin scary Electronica".

I thought about it, but since I already had Daniel Ash in my lineup I didn't really want David J as well as they might end up sounding like Love and Rockets.
Actually, I think the bassist from the Nephilim (whose name I have forgotten) might be a good thing. I've never liked the band that much, but I seem to remember they do have some cool basslines.

Tony Pettitt's the name... he's in my fantasy line-up somewhere in this here thread
Fine choices, sir!
