Cinema Strange

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I find this band quite entertaining. Their first album was rather weak with the lack of guitar and same cheesy synth strings used over and over, but their second is an atmospheric masterpiece in the genre of crazy german music.
Anne Widdecombe sucks.

I've seen them. I wasn't impressed.

Next! as brother Blast might say.

 @ Emsy!
I heard a few tunes by Cinema Strange so far. Fairly underwhelming stuff with the occasional goodie amongst.
I won't sell my gran for them.

They're certainly an aquired taste, but I wouldn't call them underwhelming or unimpressive.

I think this song is pretty impressive:

Anything from their first album is kind of underwhelming and unimpressive though. No meat'n'bones to it. Sounds like someone singing over an MIDI track.

I like it because it's kind of twisted fairtytale music.

I guess the "for" should be replaced by "to", so it's nicely strange, hm? -My last granny died in '99.. :innocent:
You could have the other one as well, but I've no idea where they buried her.
In 1954 or so..

@Rosalie: The famous matter of taste. I guess I'll never get them. Keep enjoying, I know you're not alone there. Rumour has it that there were a few peeps who bought their albums.

To be fair it was around the time of their first album that I saw them.
