one for the stalkers

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Dear all,

I'm going on tour to the USA from October 26th - December 4th, so am looking to let my room whilst I'm away. It's in Kentish Town, very close to Camden and Chalk Farm. I acknowledge that it's late notice, but the original plan fell through.

So, does anyone need a place in London for that period of time? The start and end dates are negotiable.

Ben

Do you think he'll leave a master tape dated September 08 strategically placed on the coffee table? ;D

He's a young man - do you think he knows what a tape looks like? "Um...what's this? Funny looking CD..."

Dunno what age-group he is but I know that my first copyright infringements has been made with a double-tape-deck^^

But it's funny to see how today's youth is growing up with iPod's and memory cards. Listening music with classic stereo equipment seems also going rare these days.

Jesus, is the poor thing paid so little that he has to let his room whilst he's doing his job abroad?

Sorry, I can't quite hear you in my first-year Uni halls over the sound of my record player as I think of some tracks to put on a mixtape for someone. ;D

You techno-nerd, you - try committing copyright infringements with a stack of 78s and a wax-disk machine!

You mean he's graduated from 5 Easy Pieces For Little Hands?
I can't get past #3 in that book, so this post is purely out of jealousy

Was that an impression of the little bit he insists on putting at the end of every guitar lick? :innocent:

Fuck Off!
I think he's ace and has livened up many moribund tunes, how many more dull boots of Adam and Starling do we need?

I liked Chris Starling. I also really enjoy his solo stuff.

i also like Starling's solo works-"pussy blues", but as well like Christo's guitar wanking - he's fit perfect for fundamental idea of The Sisters of Mercy- i think i don't have to remind which one, didn't i ?
