Hi,
I'm going to see Cranes at Hoxton Sq Bar and Kitchens this Weds (29th) and was wondering if anyone has some directions to the venue. Obviously I know it's on Hoxton Square, near Old Street tube station, but any further help would be appreciated. A friend who's been before said he got lost and spent ages trying to find it...
Anyone here going? I love Cranes, I think they compliment The Sisters in alot of ways... whilst being completely different!
Cheers!

Goths have feelings too
I used to really like them, but for me anyway they peaked at Wings Of Joy (which I still listen to at times), and slid downhill pretty dramatically from there. Some good moments on Forever despite that, and admittedly it's difficult to see how they could have sustained the original/early sound over a full career.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Cheers for the map, Si!
Yes I think Wings of Joy is probably my fave, but like the newer stuff too. The three lastest albums are particularly good, though rather electronic. I expect the gig will be mostly the newer songs...
