The guys seem to have played a fairly finished instrumental demo in Cleveland. A fantastic quality recording has been posted on youtube and, to my ear, sounds the business.
It's been discussed in the audio thread in the current tour section of this site, but I think it deserves it's own thread:

Thoughts?
The audio quality is really really good - probably the clearest Sisters recording since the 'official' download of Suzanne. I wonder if the band would be happy about it being out in the wild? I suppose in this day and age, the moral of the story is don't play anything outside of a studio that you don't want recorded.
(Didn't some guy record bits of the new U2 album on his phone in Spain? If I remember correctly, he happened to walk past Bono's apartment window where he was playing rough mixes? He posted them on youtube - you couldn't make it up really.)
New Sisters track previewed in Cleveland sound check!
Do I drive or am I driven?
Even if that should turn out to become another cover-That sounds promissing!
The sound quality just is too good for the song comming from anywhere else than the Soundman's or nurse's knobs, right?

I'd quite like to know did the same guy record anything else at that soundcheck? It would be nice to have recordings of this quality of some of the other 'new' songs.
(Or for that matter, any of the older songs as well, as played by this line up.)

I was under the impression the entire soundcheck had been released on Dime. Is that mistaken? I also seem to recall someone suggesting there was another unidentified piece of music played right before this one....

I was waiting for Kirk Hammett to come in with his solo at some point, but he never did. The riffing is good.
Whether this was really the Sisters or someone else posting their music, I liked the sound of it.

Anyone have a name for this yet?
I suggest 'chugga chug chug', because that's how it goes.

How about Millennium? The opening riff sounds just like it from Killing Joke.
My thoughts exactly Which doesn't bother me the slightest, Millennium is a great song and there are definitely worse songs they could be "ripping off"...How about Millennium? The opening riff sounds just like it from Killing Joke.
Really like the track, though.

It sounds like Millenium by Killing Joke. And I half expect Dio to come in any second The vocals'll be interesting.
To not know and to ask a question is a moment of embarrassment; to not know and not ask is a lifetime of shame.
The chorus certainly sounds very Sisters. And would they have a song programmd into the Doktor if they weren't going to perform it? Unless it's a work in progress. Chris did say they'd been writing new material.
Any more of that and we'll be round your front door with the quick-setting whitewash and the shaved monkey.

This is what I get for downloading torrents and not actually listening to them.
I get this feeling of familiarity from it, cover or not... But then again, I did have the same reaction the first time I heard First and Last and Always and Nine While Nine; almost like I've heard it all my life.
It sounds pretty nice even without vocals, almost like Top Nite Out.
Now, who needs Andrew Eldritch, again?
