Does someone know if there is a good connection (train, bus or better take the car) from Leiden (NL) to Amsterdam? I am planning to have a business trip around the 24th of Feb. to Leiden, so I could adjust my schedule and go the Paradiso. Thx for your feedback.

Excellent connection. Leiden Central to Amsterdam Central takes about half an hour; no stops in between.Buelbringer wrote:Does someone know if there is a good connection (train, bus or better take the car) from Leiden (NL) to Amsterdam? But anyway.
There's always worse. Midnight Oil re-united or so. So no complaining from me.

Good news is; I found out that O'death isn't supporting at all, but performing afterwards in the small room.
Bad news is: show starts at 20.30, which i think is a typical Dutch habit. Ok, the band deserves decent bed times, but not me.

I'm happy with early start. A late start normally means too much drink, thus no memory of concert next day. I can now bask in the glow of The Sistersdinky daisy wrote:Good news is; I found out that O'death isn't supporting at all, but performing afterwards in the small room.

I live in Soest and have work the following day, so an early start is just perfect!
Thanks for the good news

It is looking a bit iffy for us - we may be poncing around Bruges on the 24th... but we may still scoot up the road to Amsterdam. Hard to choose which gigs to go to.
Initially we had tried to get tickets to the Feb 24th gig without any success. We do have tickets for Belgium (23rd) and Paris though - they are sitting proudly on the bookshelf!!

Well, there's about 12 of us including you on the list so.....Bahamas wrote:Cool. I am scared that one day I going to go to a show and only 12 people are going to show up. I have seen that flights out the UK are not very expensive. I have had difficulties getting a ticket for the Amsterdam night. Do you know much about the venue? and I guess I can buy a ticket on the night?
I have booked my flight but not a ticket for the venue.
I would imagine tickets will still be available on the night but somebody with a bit more local knowledge will hopefully be able to give a more definitive answer.
