That's right. The tickets are valid, but to be able to download them again you have to get in touch with Tickster...Hausi wrote:Thanks a lot! Do you know if Tickets are still valid? Only the download link is locked, right?
Quick wine answer
The sisters of mercy to Stockholm 09-03-21!
There is a Formule 1 close to the metro station Telefonplan. That is -normally- by far the cheapest hotel as far as I know, but as it is saturday, you should be able to find hotel rooms that are much reduced through Expedia or something similar.
I don't think there's much around the venue, so I'd stay in the inner city. If you want to drink both cheaply and unsnobbish (yes, it's possible, even in Sweden!) I can recommend the area around Folkungagatan/Östgötagatan. Drink beer at the rock bar Kellys, Folkungagatan and then go talk to non-goffs in the Vampire lounge

Of course, but there's a fine line between photograpy, video and audio these days. My camera captures great video at 1024 x 768, and the audio is really great as well, but the camera still looks really innocent. I was surprised myself when I first recorded a gig with it.Druide wrote:Forbidden for sure !!!Yggdrasil wrote: recording
Sometimes "non-professional cameras" (i.e no removable lenses etc) are actually allowed, like at Brixton Academy for instance. And if so, then I'm all set..

Hi Chris,Christian wrote:Will be there as well. Just ordered my ticket & booked the flight. Cool stuff, I have never been in Sweden before.
jenzi: hast Du schon ein Hotel?
nein wir haben noch kein Hotel, Jens und ich.
Yes I never been to Sweden before, too. The f**** airport is 80 kms from Stockholm. There is a Hotel Nordic which sells 6 square meters boxes fpr 6 Euro a night.....

A I wrote long ago in this thread, the formule 1 hotel is definitely the cheapest, and really dirt-cheap if you are three people in one room (for about 37 euro per room). Otherwise try expedia or something, it's a weekend so it should be possible to find not-so-expensive places to stay.
The Ryanair airport is 100 km from the city center, the main airport around 45 km.

You should check this out - a youth hostel on a beautiful ship in the city center, very cheap too:euphoria wrote:A I wrote long ago in this thread, the formule 1 hotel is definitely the cheapest, and really dirt-cheap if you are three people in one room (for about 37 euro per room). Can anyone give me an idiot's guide to how to order tickets for Stockholm? I'm having no luck with the link from the Sisters page, mainly cos I don't understand a word of it. I hope there are still tickets left!

Hi Andrew!
You can make your order in English...hope this link works:
Edit: Ok, so it didn't work. Then click here:
http://luger.se/_turneoarr_visa.asp?PK_Id=8267
and then on the black and white LUGER BILJETT icon. You should then come to an English page.
I get the English language as default...and I'm Swedish!

I am very proud that I have managed to order the ticket via a Swedish site. But I guess that Swedish and German have more in common than Svedish and English. But when the ticket agency sent me an e-mail I did not understand a word. Fortunately a German friend who's got a Svedish girlfriend could translate it.
Cheers Ticket has been purchased but , like Christian, I have no idea what's written in the email. I just followed the main link, downloaded the PDF, saved and printed what I hope is my ticket! Well, it has a barcode on it. There wre a couple of other links on the download page:
"Lås mina biljetter så att ingen annan kan ladda ner dem" and "(Vad är det här?)"
but they didn't work and came up with a mystery message.

What is the easiest way to get to the venue from Stockholm inner city or central station and how long does it approximately take?
Is Arenan Hammarby, Fabriksväg 13, Stockholm the correct address of the venue?

The fear takes hold!
From central Stockholm you take any of the three southbound green metro lines (direction Farsta strand, Hagsätra or Skarpnäck) to Gullmarsplan, takes about 10 minutes from the central station I think.
Then you walk something like this:

Stockholmers may correct me if I'm wrong
Not too expensive pre-gig beer should be found close to either Slussen or Medborgarplatsen metro stations, both on the way to the venue.

My questions exactly. It all looks rather difficult to understand from the venue's site, doesn't it.Hausi wrote:What is the easiest way to get to the venue from Stockholm inner city or central station and how long does it approximately take?

Thank you euphoria.
