Ha-ha, guys, are you really so scared to fly from Moscow directly to where you live?

Well, its not bad Tupolevs are the problem (as someone here suggested), rather second-hand Boeings from China:) There is a good joke here that travelling by train is even more dangerous becase airplanes may fall on them

Good old aeroflot the only airline i have vowed never to fly with again and yes there were quite a few people kissing the ground on landing! Although the landing was better than a flight into Ft Lauderdale before the 1999 show but at least on that occassion the pilot could blame Hurricane Floyd /Irene (i forget which one was the cause of the high winds and rain!)

Same here...

The f... visa including all the obligatory insurances and other related bribes costs as much as 3 gigs in different countries, so my plans to visit Moscow will have to wait till I'm retired and there's no more Sisters gigs elsewhere.

Still, I really like the fact that they play in Moscow again. Not to mention the places where they've never (or far too rarely) played before.

This is the way it should be.

I dunno...that interview he did in SA awhile back, he said if it had been the previous incarnation of the band, that tour would have killed them all.

But perhaps he meant "by mutual homicide"...

I have serious doubts about Petersburg. It would be such a long trip for me, since I'm not from Moscow... And I'm already going to Moscow (got tickets).

Yes, me too,- I decided to go to Moscow show and omit StPb cos its working day and I dont want to take vacation. Remember myself travelling to Piter 6 years ago for Kosheen gig and the concert been canceled in last minute because the band had problems with customs.. that was quite a frustration, besides I lost money (concert and train tickets).

Ok the setlist was the same as in Helsinki and St Petersburg. You can go back to sleep now.

The venue was big (easily 2000+ capacity) and busy but not sold out. The upstairs bit appeared to be closed.
They hit the stage at 9:45pm, somewhat later than the night before.
The crowd were energetic throughout, and several objects were thrown onstage during the gig, including hats, shirts and other items of clothing and some red roses! Von picked up one of said items (a baseball cap I think) and put it on top of his mic stand for a whole song. Dead funny!

Another amusing incident during Snub Nose: Chris picked up one of the roses that had landed on stage and showed it to Ben, but while doing so accidentally banged the neck of his guitar into Von's mic stand (made a horrible noise!)

AE said a few notable things between songs e.g. before 'Dominion': "This is all your fault!" and during the intro of 'Susanne': "Yes this is just like a football match, except I'm ****** ****** (I didn't quite catch the last couple of words but I bet it was something sarcastic).

Cigarette lighters were held aloft during 'Something Fast' - this happened in St Petersburg too. I didn't know people still did this (how 80s)

This was the loudest I've heard the Sisters on this tour by a long way. In fact it as the loudest Sisters gig for a long time. I'm not talking Motorhead loudness but it was certainly back to 97-01 levels.
