My wife's company once got K.C., of K.C. and the Sunshine Bnd fame, to play at a Christmas party. Woohoo!MrChris wrote:Speaking of private gigs, my stepdad works for Vodafone, and over recent years they've had performances at their annual parties by Kylie, Robbie Williams, Hearsay, S Club 7, Blue, Chrissie Hynde (???), and more or less all the biggest stars of planet pap. I presume they must be paid a LOT of money to do this kind of work. Maybe Eldo should turn recruit four girlies to join the band, and team up with Pete Waterman.

This should be no fake!
Does anyone really know how much money the managment of the SoM want to have that the Sisters play on a normal concert (no festival but no private gig)?
Is it more than 50.000€?

All this talk of paying for the Sisters to play a private gig reminded me of somthing... I seem to recall there was once a competition in UTR and the prize was a gig in the winner's living room... Is that a figment of my imagination, was it an April fools joke or did it actually happen does anyone know? Unfortunately I lost my UTR collection (I had every issue) somewhere between Birmingham and Bristol (via NZ) so I can't check this for myself Gutted.
the only thing to fear is fear itself

If you look on the gigography on the official site I'm sure it has this gig in someones living room listed.
I should however have checked before I wrote this, I'll do that now :
cheers

They did it at least twice, the last one was before Pukkelpop Festival 1992, as mentions it in the MTV interview with Paul Kingzaltys7 wrote:Hy,DomConway wrote:All this talk of paying for the Sisters to play a private gig reminded me of somthing... and having said that I remember reading on Dominion that Robin had contacted Sabine and asked about the gig. Apparently Sabine and her boyfriend had an agrument during the gig and left the room, leaving the band to play to no one in particular.
