Gig reviews, set lists, thoughts, comments and observations on the 2008/2009 Sisters tour, including the Autumn/Winter 2008 U.S. and European 2009 legs.
Scene of the 1993 "Off the streets" benefit, that saw Von team up with the Utah Saints for a couple of tunes! (Tunes may be overstating it, especially New Gold Dream- wasn't much of a tunes from what i can recall.)

Seriously if you are daft enough to come over from foreign lands* I'll put you up and give you a serious talking to
This includes Scotland
Not even your kind offer of free accomodation can induce me to spend my hard earned cash on another Sisters' gig.
Sorry, but a mumbling pisshead shuffling about the stage almost invisible in the smoke doesn't do it for me.
Instead, I shall try and remember the Sisters as a sleek and shimmering rock beast, fronted by a leather trousered, often arrogant, left-wing intellectual love god.
I saw The Levellers at Leeds Acadamy. Good sound, nice venue. It'll be perfect for the Sisters. It's just off millenium square. If you take the road opposite the Merrion centre it's there, at night it's light up like a bleeding christmas tree.
Pretty sure I'll be sitting outside the venue from sunrise, and Rob, you're joining me whether you like it or not
Doubt I'll make Leeds to be honest, and no, unfortunately I shall be swanning into Kentish Town about half eight at the earliest, the pubs are absolutely dreadful, if I'm sitting outside anywhere at midday, it'll be my local in Brixton, and there I shall remain as long as humanly possible.
Not excellent, true, but as always the trick that works is "never have a credit you cannot afford to loose". So I practise in always keeping it low enough through consumption
I got the confirmation mail and everything looks fine to me... 40,88 pounds for two tickets
Edit: Not euro, pounds But still a bargain compared to other tickets.
