I was just reading some old interviews around the VT time & I was just wondering does any kind soul knowwho did what? Obviously the touring band wasn't the same as the one that made it...
Andreas was obviously involved. I know The Only Ones John Perry was also played - that HAS to be him all over on Dentonation Boulevard... ANy one know how that came about?
THen bass - Patsy had long since been introduced to the Spanish Archer by then, so was it E?
Vision Thing - who did what?
And Mr James before he got bored and went for a very long drive, aye!bangles wrote:THen bass - Patsy had long since been introduced to the Spanish Archer by then, so was it E?
Tim did nowt; not a big ghastly secret or anything, it's fairly well known and was mentioned in interviews at the time that he had joined the band too late.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

There's another good interview with TJ somewhere (who apparently played most of the bass on the record) where he says he was having loads of trouble with the Something Fast bassline (too slow apparently...), so Eldy had to sit down and record it himself.

Yes, that rings a bell, although I can't remember the source.Jim wrote:There's another good interview with TJ somewhere (who apparently played most of the bass on the record) where he says he was having loads of trouble with the Something Fast bassline (too slow apparently...), so Eldy had to sit down and record it himself.
Didn't AE also play some early guitar until John Perry turned up?
