The closest to "finished" was the version done in Macromedia Director (now Adobe Director IIRC). I've lost that software (it was on the computer at my old job) so I decided to start again doing it in Python. Only thing is, this involves actually learning python...

The Spectrum had two major advantages: It was far easier to program (BASIC or machine code) and it was about half the price of the C64.
