If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Over the centuries, mankind has tried many ways of combating the forces of evil...prayer, fasting, good works and so on. Up until Doom, no one seemed to have thought about the double-barrel shotgun. (Terry Pratchett)

A bit of decent EQing and that's a mighty fine boot. Flood II in particular; stunning. Cheers!

I browsed the forums but didn't noticed it anywhere else. From this mighty Dresden recording we can hear they used part of Afterhours for the intro. But to my ears this version from the intro sounds a little bit different than the original - especially those spooky synths are totally unlike from what I remember from the old recording. What about the rest of European gigs, what do they use for the intro or is it just a random selection according to the Von's mood.

No random selection. Afterhours has been the only intro so far during this tour.
Sounds 'newish' indeed. I would like this intro to be longer. Bit short.

yeah, they've abbreviated it and added some synths.

also, they've dropped the dub and the tangerine dreamfrom before that... hamburg and berlin both had DJs (or maybe a compilation cd?) up until the afterhours intro kicked in...
