Who can begin conventional amiability the first thing in the morning?

2011...on road again...
Best show I've attended this year. Great Sound, Great light/smoke balance and a perfect mood all around the place. Von did a lot of funny gestures and some chattering. At the beginning of something fast somebody throw a cup on the stage (with a funny "boing" sound through the PA) and that was exactly the moment before "...I don't need that now.."
Unfortunately I missed a small part including most of Arms because I got caught again during filming

Caught? as in? By security? How weird is that, thanks to 'illegal' activities (filming, recording, sharing etc) the Sisters still have followers.

Well well well. What a pleasant surprise this was as I wasn't expecting a great deal...
I hadn't seen the Sissies since the (best forgotten) festival appearance in Lorca in 2007. Before that, Budapest a whole year before.
I guess they'd drifted off my radar for a while but I'd decided to come out of retirement for this tour, and straight away witnessed one of the best Sisters gigs I've seen in 10 years!
They've got rid of that rather dull "dum-dum-thud-thud" Intro thingy and reinstated Afterhours. Which is a good move.
'Arms' is very impressive - the best "new" song since Crash & Burn IMHO.
The new version of Floorshow is immense (much better than the 1993 attempts of it) and was a clear highlight.
Marian is also back in the set. Ace.
The sound was great. Much better than the Silver Bullet Tour.
The crowd were really up for it and it was nice to meet up with folk again after 2-3 years, some of whom are on here. You know who you are.

The sound and spirit of this whole tour is far more better than 2006. Columbiahalle 2006 was in my opinion flat and iffy, also the audience wasn't having a top night out (but that's my memory). See & hear the difference now.
