Help ID'ing some old footage

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

hal's list shows 3 gigs from 83 with video footage where they played that song

http://www.zsd.co.za/~lucien/sisters/tr ... oslive.php
1 April 1983 - Nightmoves, Glasgow, Scotland - DVDR
Kiss the Carpet + Anaconda + Alice + Adrenochrome + Valentine + Burn + Jolene + Floorshow + Heartland + Body Electric + Lights + Gimme Shelter +

23 April 1983 - Technical College, Peterborough, England - DVDR
Burn + Heartland + Valentine + Jolene + Adrenochrome + Floorshow + Body Electric + Gimme Shelter + Sister Ray +

29 June 1983 - Brixton Ace, London, England - DVDR
Kiss the Carpet + Alice + Anaconda + Valentine + Jolene + Heartland + Adrenochrome + Gimme Shelter + Emma +
it doesn't look like how i remember the brixton footage, and i think peterborough is mainly black and white, so i'd suggest it's this one?

1 April 1983 - Nightmoves, Glasgow, Scotland

also, when you see this gimme shelter from the same source

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9ui5LUo ... re=related

and note that gimme shelter was also played at glasgow, it suggests that might be the fella...

iirc, the nightmoves gig is pretty well known - just not be me - so someone on here should recognise it :)

alternatively, grab yourself a copy of it in the weeding section here:

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Most soures for that gig come from an old VHS called "Kiss the Blade" which must have been about a 10th generation copy. Occasionally a bit of colour would bleed through if you were playing it on a decent VCR. Otherwise it was black and white. We must presume the YouTubes come from someone with a better quality copy.

It was still a great Vid tho, particularly as it had the Skeletal's Promised Land promo on it too...
