Today is April 1st, no??????????

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls,

Von gave an interview to Warsaw daily "Zycie Warszawy" ("The Life of Warsaw") before the Warsaw concert this Monday (30 March). For the tiny minority of you who might not know Polish yet, the rough translation of the first question (obvious and of the boring kind) and Von's answer (not-so-boring whatsover):

Q: Why have we been waiting for so long for a new album ?
AE: It will come out soon. The songs have been already recorded. I am trying to put finishing touches on them right know. I`d like this album to be a kind of retrospective in a sense that it will show changes that have taken place in the group for nearly 20 years. And it will prove that I have not rested on my laurels and have not been lazing around, which is imputed to me by the media from time to time.

Go figure.

it has, and the interview was done a few days ago, and then published a couple of days ago, which suggests its not an april fools' joke by von or by the people at zw.com.pl...

well, not a deliberate one anyway

maybe he just got sick of people asking so said it was in the pipeline to shut them up :?

or maybe he thinks rumour of a new recording will generate more interest for the tour?

time will tell anyway :|

That's almost certainly because you're a vampire. Are you a vampire? Apparently it's quite common in goth circles.

I like this post.

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.
