more mash up

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Love it! But I'm a fan of remixes to tell you truth, I think they're fun...I finally managed to find that Dirty Funker remix of "Alice" and I've got "New Cretia" (still looking for an absolutely banging Sisters remix though - those two are nice but not "wow") but mash-ups are another creature entirely. ;D

Bit short-sighted there, Pat.
I mean, it's only "More", it can't be made much worse.

Booooring. :| Less of a mash-up than a straightforward remix, imho. And where the hell's the cowbell? Meh.

My favorite mashups include gordyBoy's "A Hidden Forest" (Björk vs. The Cure), Nathan Chase's "The Ghost That Feeds" (Ray Parker Jr. vs. NIN), A Plus D's "Hollaback Headhunter" (Gwen Stefani vs. Front 242), Martinn's "City Of Blinding Clocks" (U2 vs. Coldplay), and a slew of DJ John offerings...

I am going to have look some of these up - very intrigued, Hollaback Headhunter sounds bizarre but that's exactly why I want to hear it now! ;D
