The Sisters Of Murphy live for the last time - Fri Sept 4th

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

:notworthy: and a little bit

and to fill up everyone's weekend nicely we are looking at getting a venue for a heartland meet the next night - saturday 5th - and then something equally as interesting with the black sheep folks for sunday 6th :von:

more details as and when we have secured something, but rest assured - you're going to need to keep the whole weekend free ;)

:D and :( in equal measures, Paddy. Well, game on either way!

I can accommodate one or two at Chateau Sinister, PM to let me know if room required. Afraid I will have been waylaid by then and become a Worthless Gobshyte Studentâ„¢ so prepare yourself for the worst!

friday - smurphs @ the subculture
saturday - heartland @ tbc (possibly santiago again)
sunday - black sheep (vs the heartlanders ;)) @ the basement

As eluded to by Monsignor InadvisableHaircut, the venue is actually "The Subculture" and not the Basement (or indeed "The Bassment, as it was previously know!)... the website is here.

Conveniently close to the Merrion Hotel which does very cheap deals if you catch them on a good day, or a manageable jaunt from the Etap which does rooms for three (presumably fairly close friends) for only £35 a night. Bargain!

As far a Sunday is concerned, it'll either be the usual Heartland/Sheep face off on the decks, or I'm quite open to the idea of running a free gig night of Heartlandy-type bands... although only if there's any Heartlandy-type bands willing to entertain the masses for nowt!

(willing bands feel free to contact me directly!!)

There is nothing quite like The Smurphs, apart from 1984.

That should be singular, not plural
