I've not seen part 3 (though Wiki spoiled it.. I should have known better!) but I remember feeling quite sick at the meta-story aspect in Part 2.. also, the lack of laugh track, the soft lighting and multiple camera angles.. just smacked of Dr Who to me (the new series of which I also dislike) instead of the usual low-budget laughs of old Dwarf.
That said.. it's f**king new Red Dwarf, I'm still gonna love it anyway.

I love the new look... a lot of CGI makes up for lack of studio space
(see the making of special aired after part three) and the Blade
Runner homage was stretched a bit... but still funny.
I'm sure some people did not like the alternate Kochanski of season
seven or when the Dwarfers went Back in the Red in season
eight... I loved it because it was at least still on... and still funny!
BTW -- I love Doctor Who... all of 'em!

So they had to replace her and Chloë Annett was a good choice.
Despite the initial surprise in series seven... I feel that she held her
own rather well with the Boys of the Dwarf!
I was, however, hoping to see more of her in this new series!
Oh well... we cannot have everything... like a new Sisters record!
Yeah... still no Clare Grogan... and according to Wikipedia, when askedkochanski needs to be clare grogan. period.

We struggled with it at first... then we were ok and I think there should/will be another series!
