Seriously though - that's kinda cool. Is this the first time officially shot footage has been released by the girls since the Suzanne video on the website?

That doesn't look like fan footage their working with for those TV spots - looks more like it was shot from the sound booth.

to my it looks like Rush's DVD from Moscow (2006) with strobo~light effect, but i might be wrong.
