Turning 50: it's not all bad apparently ... but for how long

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

At least according to The Telegraph
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/lifestyle/52 ... l-bad.html

Bruno Brooks, Julie Birchill, Simon Le Bon, Kate Bush, Morrissey, Prince, Paul Weller, Madonna and Michael Jackson all turned 50 -- and so does Andrew Eldritch (if he hasn't already).

Will The Sisters still be performing when Eldritch is 60?

And you, OnlineSince1984, how old are you and what do you think you'll be doing in ten years' time? :D

40 years old, blimey, hasn't that flown by.

In ten years time I will still be online, like I was in 1984 and have been ever since. Prolly still listen to Sisters tunes occasionally. Still fancy pretty goth girls. So ... same as, same as.

I think we've been in here too long. I feel unusual. I think we should go outside.

mr. kilmister (thats lemmy to you at the back) is approaching retirement age...can't see it happening myself, not when you consider his personal philosophy that giving things up is bad for you. a shining example to us all. :von:
