Happy St. George's Day!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

What better day to sit back and reflect that the birthplace of parliamentary democracy has no parliament of it's own, is governed by a Scotsman who has never had an English vote cast for him, and has swing votes decided by Scottish MP's at Westminster.
That our rights to free speech, freedom of assembly and protest, and even habeus corpus have all been ripped to shreds.
That our supreme legislative bodies sit across the Channel and our unwritten constitution is likely to be replaced against our will..
Meh, I'm depressing even myself now..
